Uploaded my first fanfic last night on AO3 and I thought it was posted twice on accident (because it didn't take it the first time.) So, I deleted it with that mindset and later came to discover that it was only posted ONCE.

Oops.

So I had to re-post it AGAIN. Urgh.

Dunno if it's my internet connection or the site itself, but I'll know better to wait and check next time. :)

Can't wait for the next episodes of Boueibu and Servamp! I'm SO excited, really.

Oh, and for updates on an emotional trainwreck I like to call RAISING A BAT. I hate this manhwa, I swear. A punch to the feels every time.

Ooh ooh! I also can't wait for the Fall season of anime to start, either! Yuri!!! On Ice looks awesome and Bungou Stray Dogs season 2 starts! Hnng.

I can't handle my levels of enthusiasm sometimes. I'm sorry. ; w ;

Most of my NOTPs have valid reasoning as to why I dislike them, but there are a few that defy even that logic. Some characters just don't look good together. That's just the way of things as far as I'm concerned. These are only my opinions and only a few of my many fandoms. I just chose my main fandoms because that's simpler for me.
  • En/Kinshiro (Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu LOVE!) - So many levels of NO. They didn't get along at first for one thing, secondly Atsushi is the only thing that really ties them together, and they're just too opposite to work. I can't get into the fics that people write for these two. En doesn't strike me as being the super pervert that some authors portray him to be in most Enshiro fics. When you have to change a character around to fit a ship, there's a problem with that ship.
  • Steven/Leo (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Not only do these two have an IMMENSE age gap, they also have very little interactions in canon (anime or manga.) Some of the fanworks I've seen depicting them are mostly headcanons...that don't make a whole lot of sense because we know so little about Steven. The only person that Steven seems to be close /close/ to is Klaus. This ship just won't work.
  • Zapp/Zed (Blood Blockade Battlefront) - Yes, they're partners. Yes, they're rivals and somewhat friends. NO, Zed is only thirteen and Zapp is twenty-four. Ages bother me and are important when deciding on ships. I've read some raunchy stuff about these two and it honestly makes my stomach turn. Zed strikes me as an asexual anyhow, so this is just UGH for me.
  • Dazai/Chuuya (Bungou Stray Dogs) - No, no, no, no. They were partners but they were never friends. At least, they never struck me as such. They have an obvious rivalry and animosity for one another, so this just doesn't work out for me. I don't see how people ship them at all.
  • Akutagawa/Atsushi (Bungou Stray Dogs) - Again, they're (somewhat) rivals, and Akutagawa harbors some serious hatred/malice towards Atsushi. I read cutesy, fluffy fics about these two and wind up scratching my head in confusion. Have these authors ever read the manga or watched the anime even? Akutagawa is a bloodthirsty assassin employed by a fucking MAFIA...not some sad, daisy-picking child with an inferiority complex.
  • Shuu/Reiji (Diabolik Lovers) - SOMEONE EXPLAIN THE APPEAL TO THIS SHIP. It makes me uncomfortable to even see fics or fanworks about this ship. They hate each other and Reiji has fucked up Shuu well beyond the point of reconciliation. Just NO.
  • Naru/Mai (Ghost Hunt) - There are so many things wrong with this ship. First of all, Mai is in love with EUGENE, not NARU. SHe doesn't realize it, but she is, Naru just happens to look like his dead twin is all. Second, Mai is far too immature for Naru; I love her to pieces, but she'd go better with someone who wouldn't be put off my naivete or immaturity.
  • Morty/Eusine (Pokemon) - This one has no basis other than I hate the way they look together and the fandom's Shipping Wars just killed it for me. \_( '_' )_/
  • Itsuki/Yuuta (Starmyu) - I've seen some nasty Shipping Wars in this fandom, and Itsuki/Yuuta makes me queasy as is because of the whole 'senpai-kouhai' thing. I just don't like them together,
  • Ren/Masato (Uta no Prince-sama) - This is the worst ship on this list for two reasons: The Shipping Wars and how terribly people have to characterize Masato for this ship to even function. Shipping Wars aside, Masato is an introvert by nature who actually fears physical contact with other people (even his friends.) WHY ON EARTH authors portray him as some shitty tsundere with a rival complex for Ren is beyond me. He almost jizzed his pants when Haruka TOUCHED HIS HAND in the beginning of the third season of the anime, and he had trouble HUGGING Tokiya in the second season...so why would he allow Ren to get all touchy feely like he does in some fanfics? No. Take a step back, authors, and look at his character again. REALLY LOOK. You may see the horrible characterization you've been doing of him has been wrong all along.

I can't wait for my AO3 invite to come! I'm really excited to start writing fanfics for my favorite fandoms~

Although, a couple of my fandoms seem somewhat dead in the archive...Oh well! We'll just have to re-energize them, won't we?

SO EXCITED, though.

So, I've watched a lot of series this season annnnnnnnd...it's honestly been a mixed experience for me.

91 Days
Rating: 2/10
Reasons for Rating: Progresses SO slowly. Poor character development.

Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu LOVE!
Rating: 9/10
Reasons for Rating: Definitely lives up to my expectations as a sequel! Just as wacky and touching as its predecessor.

B-Project
Rating: 0/10
Reasons for Rating: Bland characters, clueless heroine in a position that requires knowledge and experience beforehand, and progresses slower than 91 Days. UGH.

Cheer Danshi!
Rating: 6/10
Reasons for Rating: Nice character development, a weak plot, and it's more fun to see the boys doing things other than cheer, to be honest.

D.Gray-man Hallow
Rating: 7/10
Reasons for Rating: Keeps to the spirit of the manga and the older anime, nice artwork and visuals, a little bland starting out but worth the wait.

DAYS
Rating: 3/10
Reasons for Rating: Cutesy, decent character development, too slow on progression, and a weak plot.

Fukigen na Mononokean
Rating: 7/10
Reasons for Rating: Keeps to the spirit of the manga, decent plot and characterization, very entertaining.

Servamp
Rating: 8/10
Reasons for Rating: Keeps to the spirit of the manga, great characterization, meets all of my expectations.
